Botanic Gardens: Christmas edition
There were lots of trains to chase, greenhouses to peruse, Chicago landmarks to identify, and snowy landscapes to marvel.

A cool little nature nook was discovered on our neighborhood run today. Wells wanted to climb right into this patch of lily pads and splash around…he settled for waving a stick through the water’s edge.
We ran over a cool bridge. We ran to a new park. We ran back to the house taking a new route.
It felt GREAT. I have been lazy with my running habits as of late and I was worried that this run would wipe me out completely.
It felt exciting to lace up my sneaks, slip into my favorite Nike Dri-Fit shirt, and let the wind whip through my ponytail.
And I’m excited to do it all over again tomorrow.
